In episode 8, we hear from Catherine Low at our November Polished North Dallas Luncheon. Catherine won Sean Lowe's heart (and ours!) on ABC's The Bachelor; now they're married with a beautiful baby boy. If you're anything like us, you've been following her and her precious family on Instagram! Before The Bachelor, Catherine was a graphic designer; she has since launched several lifestyle brands and, most recently, a luxury paper company, LoweCo.
This episode of the podcast is sponsored by LoweCo. LoweCo. is all about fun messages with a crisp and elegant delivery. Because our paper is embossed for texture, you can truly "feel the Lowe". Whether you want to remind a loved one that you care or only worry about signing your name and letting the cards speak for themselves, you (and the receiving friend) are in for a treat. A refreshing, delicious treat.
In episode 7, we hear from Melissa Ice at our November 2016 Polished Ft. Worth Luncheon. Prior to the NET, she served on church staff as a Missional Director, equipping people how to serve the poor. Since receiving her degree in social work, additionally, she has also been trained in the area of trauma-informed care for victims of sexual exploitation. She helps facilitate and rehabilitate women attempting to exit the sex industry through a specialty court called Rise, under Judge Brent Carr in Tarrant County. She is also a Co-Owner of a restaurant called BREWED on the Southside of Fort Worth and is happily married to her husband Jamey Ice. They enjoy restoring and remodeling old historic homes in their neighborhood and having dinner on the front porch of their 1920's home. Melissa loves blogging and speaking, but her favorite venture is being mommy to Rosie Pearl her new baby girl.
